Who controls your data

Asteria Works, LLC provides GrantReady and is the data controller for personal data processed to run the service, meaning we decide how and why it is used.

Data we collect and why

  • Account details — name, email address and sign-in credentials, to create and secure your account (contract performance).
  • Organization and grant information — contact details, grant records, deadlines, payments and uploaded documents, to provide the service (contract performance).
  • Reminder settings — delivery email and optional mobile number, to send reminders you request (contract performance and consent).
  • Support messages — to answer your requests (legitimate interests).
  • Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser information and activity logs, for security, fraud prevention and improvement (legitimate interests).

Who we share data with

  • Service providers that host, store, secure, send messages for, or support the service.
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers, such as legal and accounting advisers.
  • Authorities when required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep personal data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, security and dispute purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a copy of your data, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your data protection authority. Account and reminder details can be corrected in Settings. Privacy requests should be addressed to Asteria Works, LLC.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect personal data.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies or browser storage to keep you signed in and keep the service secure. We do not use advertising cookies.
